Indian Supermarket Operator Looks To Expand

India-based Future Value Retail Ltd. plans to open 40 Big Bazaar supermarkets during the next 18 months, according to CEO Sadashiv Nayak. The company, a subsidiary of Pantaloon Retail India Ltd., currently operates 160 Big Bazaars and more than 200 Food Bazaars, Bloomberg reported.
