PepsiCo has launched an Australian version of Pepsi Next that includes stevia, a natural sweetener from a South American shrub containing fewer calories than sugar, the Associated Press said. The rollout follows the launch of Pepsi Next in the United States earlier this year, which uses a mix of artificial sweeteners and high fructose corn syrup and has about 60 calories per can, half the amount of a regular sugar-sweetened Pepsi, the story said.
