U.S. Representatives Frank Pallone, D-N.J., and Rosa DeLauro, D-Conn., have introduced a bill that would require the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to establish standards for arsenic and lead in fruit juices, USA Today reported. A recent Consumer Reports investigation indicated the level of arsenic in some apple and grape juice products exceeded the 10 parts per billion limit for bottled and public water, the story said.
