Marching toward its goal of powering all of its stores and warehouses with renewable energy, Walmart announced plans to install six solar-power systems at stores in the Denver area, reported Denver Business Journal. The systems represent the company's 100th alternative power installation and are expected to generate 3 million kilowatt hours of energy per year.
